 When Jean founded Hodges Associates a quarter-century
ago, she was it. No associates. No existing clients. That should tell you
something about her drive and determination. Today, Hodges Associates is
a highly feted agency with clients including the world's largest producer
of welding products. Her success is proof that her talent to produce successful
advertising and to recognize talent in others is truly a winning combination.
When Jean gets involved in a project, you know a viable solution's just
around the corner. This trait has also served her well in other areas where
she has made her mark--including two terms as county "Commish"
and a list of volunteer activities that reads like a one-woman Who's Who
in Community Service. A staunch believer in the benefits of free enterprise,
she has even served as a North Carolina delegate to the White House Conference
on Small Business. Just for the fun of it: Jean has a pilot's license, once
flew a hot air balloon, and enjoys a good bridge game. |
