Kuhn Dental now offering the only K7 evaluation system in the Sandhills

Kuhn Dental Announces Advanced TMJ Evaluation with K7 Computer Technology

Aberdeen, NC – According to the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, over 10 million Americans suffer from the clicking, popping and jaw pain from TMJ or temporomandibular dysfunction. Now with the advanced technology offered by the K7 Evaluation System, Kuhn Dental is the only office in the Sandhills region providing this technology.

In an effort to learn as much as possible about this latest technology in neuromuscular dentistry, local dentist, Dr. Mandy Grimshaw and her team, Pat Newsome, Ashley Owens and Brad Beck attended a recent seminar in Atlanta, GA on the K7 presented by Kevin Houck of Myotronics.

The interactive lecture was designed for both doctors and their teams, covering everything about the K7 Evaluation System, from the basics to the many advanced features it provides.

The K7 Evaluation System, with its patented technology, provides objective data that aids in making sound diagnostic and treatment decisions in all major cases: aesthetics, restorative, TMD, Orthodontics and dentures. The K7 Evaluation System provides the dental clinician with three technologies for measuring, displaying and storing objective data on physiologic and anatomical status and function: jaw tracking, electromyography and joint sonography. Dr. Grimshaw has been using this mode of diagnostics for over 8 years to diagnose and treat TMJ pain and disfunction.

Kuhn Dental Associates provides neuromuscular dentistry for disorders affecting the teeth or bite, due to the position of the muscles of the head and neck, by placing the jaw in the optimal physiological position for comfort and function.
