Fayetteville Technical Community College has been ranked #2 by Military Times in its Best for Vets: Career & Technical Colleges list for 2015 (a recognition for the past two years).

The list shows schools supporting veterans which have put the most thought and effort into tailoring programs and policies to uniquely serve veterans. By factoring in academic quality, Best for Vets provides service men and women a gauge by which to judge whether a school or degree program will truly benefit them.

The organization comprising Army Times, Navy Times, Air Force Times and Marine Corps Times focused on benefits coverage, support services, and widely available statistical measures when conducting and scoring the Best for Vets: Career & Technical Colleges survey, a highly respected, nearly 110-question analysis of a college’s efforts to provide veterans an environment for success.

As with all Best for Vets rankings, Best for Vets: Career & Technical Colleges is an editorially independent news project that evaluates the many factors that make an organization a good fit for military veterans and families.  The rankings are published in full in the October 2014 issue of Military Times EDGE magazine and online at MilitaryTimes.com, as well as ArmyTimes.com, NavyTimes.com, AirForceTimes.com and MarineCorpsTimes.com.
